What does each stats give?
STR - Damage and Block
AGI - Crit and Evasion
INT - Magic damage and Block
WIS - Increase Mana
VIT - HP and HP % that the potions gives
Update :
STR: Each point raises physical damage by 2 and physical block by 2.
INT: Each point raises magical damage by 2 and magical block by 2.
AGI: Each point raises critical rate by 5 and evasion by 2.
WIS: Each point raises Max MP by 10.
VIT: Each point raises Max HP by 5.
What is the max stats for this game?
If they didn't changed it, it should be 50.
What stats should I put for in each class and why?
Swordsman
Warrior - Str, Agi, or Vit. This depends on what you want your Warrior to end up. Warriors are considered as Sub Tanks in kRO2 so MOST if not all of them went Str / Vit / and some Agi. Which means they prioritized Str then Vit or Vit then Str then the extra stat points goes to Agi.
TIP: You can go Str, Agi for leveling then reset stat afterwards if you want to go Sub Tank.
Knight - Str and Vit. Why? Because you're the "meat shield" of the party.
TIP: I suggest adding more Str than Vit. Why? Because you have to keep the "Aggro" on you so that the Monster / Boss won't change attack ( to your party members that is. ).
NOTE: Aggro - Everytime you hit a monster you'll gain aggro points. The more aggro points you have than your party mates the more the monster will prioritize you. Which means if your the "TANK", then you must have the most aggro points in your party or the monster will change attack to the member of the party that has more aggro points than you.
"How will I know how many aggro points I have?". Look a at your mini map found at the upper right party of the client ( it should be there if you didn't change your setting.). And you'll see this:
It's called the Aggro Meter ( That's what we call it before. ). Click it and and window will open. Then trying hitting a monster and your aggro meter will change.
Thief
Rogue - Str, Agi, and some Vit. You can balance out the Str and Agi or even put more Str than Agi.
TIP: Never add more than 8 stat points on Vit. Why? Because it's useless to Rogues. Why again? Because it only gives a "LITTLE" amount of HP. So as far as I know it's a waste of stat points to put more than 8 on it.
Assassin - Sadly I never tried this class on kRO2. But I think it's pretty much the same with Rogues though which is Str, Agi, and some Vit.
Acolyte
Monk - Int, Agi, or Vit. This is considered as the top 1 or 2 Tank class in the game together with the Knight class. You need to max Int for this class. Why? Because of this "Spiritual Cadence". This passive skill will add 2 Attack power for each Int you add. And don't forget, Int gives block too. Your secondary stat can be Agi or Vit. Depends on what you like. Agi for Crit and Evasion or Vit for additional HP.
Priest - Int, Agi, or Vit. Adding Int is already given but why Agi? Well believe it or not Heal does crits in this game. But if you don't want to believe me then go Vit.
PS: I was wondering too at first if adding Agi for crit would be good. But after reaching the cap level ( which is level 50 in kRO2) I noticed how important those crits are. Normal heals only goes 1k but crit heals go up to 2k ( I'm only wearing bapho/pve normal epic items.). So I really think Agi is really important to Priests
Archer
Ranger - Str, Agi, Vit. Why Str? Because there is no Dex here in RO2. So Str is pretty much like Dex here for Archer class. About your secondary stat, you can go Agi for crits and Evasion or Vit for additional HP. But I think most people would go for Agi than Vit though. Well it's up to you on how you build your character.
Beastmaster - Str, Agi. Str for damage and block. Then Agi for crit.
NOTE: Beastmaster are considered Sub tanks too. But Warriors are better Sub tanks than them. But there are other uses for Beastmasters in the party. Like kiting the summons of the boss.
Mage
Wizard - Int, Agi. Int is already self explanatory. But why Agi? Like I said before, there's no Dex in this game and Casting speed relies on items. So the next best thing out there is Agi for crits.
Sorcerer - Int, Agi. Int is already self explanatory again same goes for Agi.
NOTE: I think Sorcerer has the highest critical damage output out there. They are considered one of the important class in this game. Why? Because they are support / range damagers. They have singe and aoe heal. They also have Resurrection.
I can't find the monsters I need to kill for my quest. Where are they?
There's a thing called quest tracker here so you can find where your quests are.
For example you want to find the Chonchon or the Chonchon Brother. All you need to do is click the quest you want to find:
After clicking it the map will open and show you where you can find the Chonchon or the Chonchon Brother:
What are the Available Professions and what do they do?
Alchemist - They make HP, SP, and other Strengthening potions.
Artisan - They make Leather armors, Clothes, and Runes.
Blacksmith - They make Weapons, and Heavy armors.
Chef - They make Regeneration, and Buff foods
What are Guardians?
Guardians provide movespeed boost and some unique buffs for each Professions.
Blacksmith - Vulcan
Increases summoner's physical defense
Hammerfall - decreases opponent's physical defense
Alchemist - Hohenheim
Increases summoner's magical defense
Acid Terror - deals physical and magical damage to a single enemy
Artisan - Veriel
Increases the summoner's evasion
Shining Gimlet - deals ranged physical damage to a single enemy
Chef - Demeter
Increases the summoner's natural HP regeneration
Lusty Smell - inflicts Poison on enemy
NOTE: I'm not sure if the unique buff are already implemented since I've never seen one before even with those people who already maxed out their Guardians.
How can I get a Guardian?
After your Profession level reached 10 you'll be able to get a special quest by talking to the NPC of your same Profession. Example: If you're a Blacksmith then you need to talk to the Blacksmith Expert.
How can I use my Guardian?
You can press "V" or click the Profession Emblem found at the top of your HP gauge.
What are Khara Quests?
They are pretty much like a Side quest for you to do. It will ask you to kill monsters, obtain items, or perform certain tasks to finish it. By finishing a Khara Quest, you might be able to get extra experience points, zeny, or even Profession experience points as a reward.
How can I change my title (khara)?
Press "O" on your keyboard and this will pop out:
Then click the semi circle found at the right side of the Khara window:
And this will open:
You can choose, select, and see the stats that the khara title can give you.
What level can I use a "Mount"?
Level 15.
Why is Wolves Cave, Izlude Dungeon, Sea God Temple, etc so hard?
It's because it's not possible to solo it ( unless if you're using a high level character.). The only way to finish it while you're still a lowbie is to make / join party with other players.
There's no more skill that I want to upgrade. Is it okay if I don't use my skill points even after changing class?
It's fine to not use all your remaining skill points. It will not disappear ( unless if the GM's changed it though.). This means you can use those unused skill points when you get to 2nd class.
What level can we change to 2nd class?
At level 25.
Does our skill resets after changing Class?
No. Except for Beastmaster and Monk. Because there are skills that you won't be able to use when you change to 2nd class. For example is "Heal" of Acolytes, Monks can't use "Heal".
How to change channel?
Look at the mini map. And you'll find a "C" icon like this:
Click it and choose the channel you want to go to.
STR - Damage and Block
AGI - Crit and Evasion
INT - Magic damage and Block
WIS - Increase Mana
VIT - HP and HP % that the potions gives
Update :
STR: Each point raises physical damage by 2 and physical block by 2.
INT: Each point raises magical damage by 2 and magical block by 2.
